I am a Metis woman from St. Albert, Alberta.  My ancestors and family members are from both the areas surrounding Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and originally from the Red River in Manitoba, which is the homeland for the Metis people.  I was born, raised, and am living and working on Treaty 6 territory, specifically in St. Albert and Stony Plain.  I am thankful to live, work, learn and play on this land.
